Founded in 1983, Z Name Shop is a family owned and operated business offering a colorful mix of gifts, personalized ornaments, souvenirs, jewelry, and sports merchandise to the greater Ogunquit community.
We're located just minutes away from the beach. Drop in for a visit next time you go swimming or come back from a walk on the scenic Marginal Way!
History
Z Name Shop started way back as a Christmas kiosk business in Brockton, Mass. Westgate mall. At the time we were selling small personalized gifts such as name rulers, notepads and stickers. Then summer of 1984, we opened our first seasonal Maine location in Kennebunkport where we enjoyed expanding the shop to include ornaments, handpainted clothing and more. In 1996, we relocated our shop to our present location in Ogunquit, Maine "beautiful place by the sea." Our philosophy has always been to make every name available on our personalized products so no one will be disappointed.
Meet the Business Owners: John and Wendy Z
We are environmentalists, volunteer island stewards for the Kennebunkport Conservation Trust, and volunteers for Maine Healthy Beaches water quality testing.
 John takes pride in finding cool stuff for from many different sources to help make Z Name Shop a fun and unique shopping destination. He is also passionate about teaching and playing volleyball.
 While realizing her dream of becoming a professional watercolorist, Wendy continues her studies at Heartwood College of Art.
